Key accomplishment so far: Tech stack in place, 15+ Machine Learning algorithms, 20+ data use cases, a Worldwide community with Data teams in key Regions/Markets.

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Client Insights Manager to spearhead our efforts in unlocking deep insights into consumer behavior and preferences. This role involves:

  • Conducting comprehensive client studies
  • Overseeing the relevance of our Client Insights dashboards
  • Collaborating with our Data team to evaluate the incremental business generated with AI-driven client activations

 

The successful candidate will act as the data steward for client profiles and behavior Analytics, playing a crucial role in our data transformation journey. His/her expertise will be instrumental in shaping our approach to gathering, managing, and leveraging client insights as a cornerstone of Dior commitment to data-driven excellence in the luxury beauty sector.

 

He/she will manage a dynamic team of two Data Analysts, using advanced analytical tools such as Dataiku and PowerBI to deliver actionable insights that drive business growth and enhance customer engagement.

 

 

Missions

Key Responsibilities

 

Vision & strategy

  • Manage the client insights roadmap (incl. budget & team), prioritizing initiatives and projects to align with our overarching goals
  • Follow-up on projects progress and raise alerts when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations when handling sensitive customer information

 

Delivery

  • Lead the execution and delivery of sophisticated client studies, translating complex data into clear insights to inform strategic decision-making across various departments
  • Manage and optimize our client BI (with our IT department) to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Actively work with the Data Science team on:
    • Framing AI use cases, enriching the framework with client insights and ensuring a consistent measurement protocol
    • Measuring the effectiveness and ROI of AI-driven activations, ensuring they align with customer-centric strategies
  • Serve as the data steward for client profiles and behavior analytics, ensuring the integrity, privacy, and strategic utilization of client data
  • Be the SPOC for internal stakeholders regarding client data inquiries, guidelines, usage policies, and best practices
  • Leverage expertise in Dataiku to facilitate efficient data workflows from raw inputs to insightful analytics
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in beauty client insights methodologies as well as advancements in AI technologies applicable to consumer analytics

 

Management & animation of stakeholders

  • Oversee a team of two Data Analysts, providing mentorship and guiding their professional development while fostering an environment that encourages innovation and operational excellence
  • Animate and lead our worldwide community of data analysts, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing, best practices, and a unified vision in data analytics

 

Profil

Qualifications

 

Academic Background & Professional Experience

  • Graduated from an Engineering School in Business Analytics, Statistics, ML, Computer Science or related field
  • 8 years' experience in client insights or consumer analytics, preferably within the beauty/cosmetics or luxury retail sector
  • Proven track record managing teams and projects that require cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience in an international environment (mandatory)

 

Expected Skills

  • Strong proficiency in analytical tools such as Dataiku DSS (Data Science Studio) for predictive modeling workflows and Microsoft PowerBI for dashboarding & reporting
  • Stellar communication skills - able to explain complex analytical concepts in terms understood by non-specialist audiences
  • Thought leader with a deep passion for technology and solution-driven creativity. Proficient in detail-oriented execution of uniquely challenging projects
  • Ability to work closely with business unit leaders and team members, with strong empathy and creative problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in delivering data use cases using Agile methodologies
  • Solid project management skills (framing, analytical rigor, etc.)
  • Proficiency in English (working language) and French are required - Additional languages are an asset
