Web Analyst (GA4) H/F (Temporary 5 months Maternity Leave Cover)

Position

We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Analyst (fixed-term contract : maternity leave cover from Nov 2024 to March 2025) to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our e-commerce website.

You will be responsible for collecting, modeling, and analyzing web data to improve customer experience, optimize business performance, and provide strategic insights to various stakeholders.

Job responsibilities

Your key responsibilities:

I/ Data Collection and Modeling:

  • Define business KPIs in collaboration with different e-commerce stakeholders;
  • Translate these KPIs into a tagging plan in collaboration with the tracking team;
  • Supervise the implementation of the tagging plan;
  • Work closely with the Enterprise Data Platform team on a project to model GA4 BigQuery raw data into ready-to-use data models;
  • Be the expert on SQL queries behind these data models and ensure data reliability;
  • Act as an ambassador for GA4 data within the Enterprise Data Platform, training other data analysts on how to use them for analysis or dashboarding.

II/ Web Analytics:

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to provide insights into customer journey, user experience, and business performance.

III/ Data Viz:

  • Maintain legacy dashboards running on Dataform and Looker Studio;
  • Build new custom dashboards.

Profile

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, statistics, mathematics
  • 3+ years of experience in digital data analytics, preferably within the luxury or other e-commerce industries.
  • Solid knowledge of GA4 data collection: tagging plan, datalayer, GTM, privacy and consent management.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics 4 data, especially GA4 raw data in BigQuery.
  • Proficiency with SQL, BigQuery, Dataform, and Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Professional fluency in English.

Additional information

Fixed term contract only(November 2024 to March 2025), excludes freelancing and agencies.
