We are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator for the EMEA region, based in Paris EMEA Head office (1 year contract).
As a Maintenance Coordinator you will oversee all maintenance, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities. You will be the one to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources available to work in an efficient and safe environment according to budget and time as well as making sure our customers have the best in-store experience.
Maintenance consists of providing solutions, organizing, and coordinating works between various internal departments and external companies. Maintenance activities can range from minor aesthetic problems up to larger technical aspects (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), as well as health & safety. It is a dynamic role, with an aim of maintaining the aesthetics, look & feel and proper functionality of our stores. The goal is to ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations within the high standards of Luxury Retail.
You will also have to drive store modification and new design implementation. The task is to work with retail team and design team, architect and mill-workers to successfully implement modification in existing store, with the highest level of coordination and quality result.
Les missions
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop maintenance procedure (on site report, maintenance list, snagging list, new design implementation)
- Coordinating with different departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Allocate workload and supervise external contractors for efficient interventions
- Monitoring and reporting on the development of the project (Keeping track and reporting on project progress)
- Visiting project sites to assess progress and address complaints or inquiries
- Assist in coordinating activities required for the execution of store designs received from Headquarters (in store modification of existing designs)
- Acting as a main point of reference at zone level for the maintenance of all our stores
- Take care of store systems: electrical, air conditioning and other plants, assuring proper functioning and maintenance documentation
- Verify that the contracts obligations are correctly performed: review monthly reports, monthly catch up with vendors, and periodical store visits
- Ensure health and safety policies are align with LVMH standards
- Responsible for performing administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, building estimates and scheduling meetings
- Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
- Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
- Manage soft renovation, meaning modification in existing stores
- Drive project with Design, Architect, mill-workers and General contractors
- Follow up project from design, modification, construction until completion of project on site
Votre profil
- Degree in Engineering/ Architecture or similar ; related technical knowledge required
- 3-4 years of project management and related experience including experience in maintenance coordination
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices (schedule and cost tracking)
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Problem-solving, precision, attention to details
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Good organization and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Flexible and agile, hands-on mentality, getting things done
- Experience in the retail industry is a plus
- Must be ready and willing to travel within the EMEA region (20-40% of the time)
- Fluent in English, French or additional languages is a plus
- Computer skills: Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Contract : CDD 1 year - possibility to be renewed or transformed to a permanent contract.
