Digital Product Manager – China Retail H/F (Temporary 5 months Maternity Leave Cover)
Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Product Manager to join our Business Transformation team based in Paris. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind the success of our retail applications and digital products for Chinese market, ensuring seamless alignment between our central team and our China team.
Job responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Define and implement the product strategy for our retail applications in China, aligning with the central product vision while adapting to local market needs and consumer behaviors.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis, staying abreast of the latest trends in the Chinese digital landscape, particularly within the luxury retail sector.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and success metrics..
- Product Development & Delivery:
- Collaborate with the IT team to translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Track and analyze product performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
- Act as the primary liaison between the central product team and the China team, fostering strong communication and collaboration.
- Partner closely with cross-functional, to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on product performance and roadmap progress
Profile
- Proven experience as a Digital Product Manager with a successful track record in the retail industry, ideally within the Chinese market context
- Deep understanding of the Chinese digital ecosystem, including popular platforms like WeChat and WeChat Work (WeCom), and consumer behavior trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge cultural differences and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in French and English is required. Knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
- Technical fluency and comfort collaborating with IT teams.
Additional information
Fixed-term contract only (November 2024 to March 2025), excludes freelancing and agencies.
