WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL
You’ll develop permanent Chanel F&B counters and coordinate project management aspects from design to installation.
You’ll provide creative and innovative solutions and application according to brand’s guidelines, retailer’s guidelines, specific design requirements, budgets, and schedules in collaboration of marketing and commercial teams.
- Challenge brief / guidelines according to space possibilities / competition; Support Markets into finding the best solutions to maximize program & space opportunities.
- Planning and monitoring projects on Database and to Architecture head. Establish timelines and drive all parties to complete project phases as scheduled.
- Liaison with markets to obtain design approvals according to brief and architectural guidelines provided.
- Review all design documents pertaining to each project.
- Coordinate bid and financial process and approvals.
- Review shop technical drawings with nominated shopfitters in order to check & approve construction drawings and materials spec.
When applicable, it is essential to visit the shopfitter’s factories prior to installation, in order to ensure the quality of manufacture (Supplier’s visit reports are mandatory).
- Work with market teams to order proper pos merchandising, visuals, and digital elements.
- Store visits on site after installations completed (particularly for flagship stores) in order to check the quality of the production and to follow-up with the shopfitters in order to resolve any snagging issues.
- Structure a transparent and efficient communication with all parties involved in the project and with upper management for all validation steps and process.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Architecture, industrial or interior design degree required (Or other relevant experience).
- Prepare presentations of projects for retailers, commercial teams.
-Dynamic, very motivated and with good communication skills, and that will work with several teams and interlocutors.
- Ability to use Adobe Creative suite software’s (Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign).
- Ability to use 3D software (Sketchup is mandatory) and 3D renderings software (V-Ray).
- Ability to speak English (Mandatory).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in architectural projects ideally in luxury or retail industry, and in a time sensitive production environment.
- Ability to balance design with operational needs and budget objectives.
- Ability to execute multiple designs under tight deadlines
- Organizational skills and attention to details.
- Graphic design skills.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to collaborate as a team player, for the greater of the brand.
- Awareness for competition and retail industry developments and actualities.
This 5 months-fixed-term contract is to be filled in November.
