Your opportunity
Kering places sustainability at the heart of its strategy and has been recognized as a leader in this area for several years. The new phase of the Group's sustainability strategy, "Crafting Tomorrow's Luxury", outlines the Group’s ambitious goals of reducing environmental impacts, fostering social well-being both inside and outside the Group, and promoting innovation. As part of this strategy, Kering's Sustainability Programs Team is working on analyzing current and future raw material usage, keeping up with responsible sourcing policies, tracking sustainable raw material sources, and on assessing new materials, processes and circular solutions coming to market.
How you will contribute
Within the Sustainable Development Department, the Intern will support projects by carrying out series of studies, benchmarks and quantitative analyses on the circular economy. The intern’s work will focus on a range of topics related to circularity: the sustainability of textile products, microfiber leaks, repair, reuse, and recycling design, and new business models.
She/He will be required to:
- conduct market research in relation to policies and to support ongoing projects
- analyze the regulation and its impact on our activities
- share deliverables at team or project meetings
- research new solutions and meet with internal and external stakeholders.
- participate in relevant seminars and conferences
Finally, she or he will be an integral part of the Sustainability team, and as such may be required to participate in projects on other themes (climate, biodiversity, etc.).
Who you are
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Higher education level (4/5 years), university profile (IEP, business school or engineering school). Studies in a relevant field of Sustainable Development, Corporate Responsibility, or similar.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (Italian is a plus)
- Perfect command of Excel, comfortable with quantitative analysis
- Rigor and ability to manage multi-tasking on different projects; Strong autonomy; Respect of schedules
- Adaptability in a multicultural context
- Technical expertise: ability to analyze macro issues, as well as to go into detail when necessary
- Organizational skills, flexibility and reactivity
- Fluent in French and English - department meetings are held in English and the ability to work on translations may be necessary.
Work-study schedule :
Full time work; 4 days company/1 day classes or 3 weeks/1 week
Work is based at the Kering
