BALENCIAGA - Leather Goods Collection Merchandiser - CDD 6 months (H/F)

Your opportunity 

As part of the Leather Goods Collection Merchandising team, you will be participating in the full-round construction process of all Balenciaga’s Leather Goods collections. You will oversee the following tasks and missions in this framework: 

How you will contribute 

Collection Strategy and Management:
•    Define the collection strategy and brief the design team on our business needs.
•    Follow up the collection development and collaborate with creative teams, to ensure harmony between artistic vision and commercial potential.
•    Pilot the margin during all the development phase to make sure to have the right product at the right price positioning.

Strategic Analysis :
•    Conduct 360 benchmarking of the luxury market (product, pricing, trends, customer behaviors).
•    Analyze collection results (sell in, sell out, sell-through, margins) to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
•    Provide strategic insights to guide future product and collection development.

Buying Session Preparation and Production Follow Up:
•    Ensure collaboration between coordination, development, production, retail, and wholesale departments to meet deadlines, quality standards, and overall consistency.
•    Actively participate in key stages, such as showrooms and collection presentations.
•    Follow up the product validation and production to reach the target deliveries in store.

Margin Piloting and Cost Optimization:
•    Analyze the luxury market pricing evolution to provide strategic target prices.
