While more than 90% of the world's leather production is made with leathers tanned with Chrome or by heavy chemical agents, Bleu de chauffe chooses instead the only alternative manufacturing process: vegetable tanning, a natural action that gives leather greater durability, a natural look and feel, with the added bonus of a lovely patina over the years.
