Based in Paris, the Retail Excellence Manager for France & Southern Europe will report directly to the France & Southern Europe Brand Director.
As the Retail Excellence Manager, you will drive Retail excellence, overseeing retail performance & operations, training, coaching and managing the Retail Excellence team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail operations: Scope France/South Europe
- Ensure efficient and consistent implementation of operational tools & guidelines (ex: Boutique policies & procedures).
- Strive for operational excellence within all Boutiques, proactively work with the Sales Operations Manager and Boutique Managers to improve operations & maintenance.
- Leverage on all retail excellence evaluation tools to improve retail excellence consistency and singularity:
-Mystery shopping: based on the reports analysis, set action plans with Boutique Managers
-Voice of the client: optimize the impact of having direct feedback from clients to elevate client experience, from the implementation in pilot stores to the full deployment.
- Design a global retail calendar to schedule projects at best with retail rhythms.
- Oversee and support preparation of High Jewelry presentations with VICs.
Retail performance: Scope France/South Europe
- Propose sales objectives and KPI targets across the internal and external boutiques network in close collaboration with the Brand Director.
- Analyze KPIs/reports and identify/propose priority actions to achieve targets and business growth.
- Drive the yearly Boutique action plan process with the Brand Director and the Europe Marketing & Communication team; schedule initiatives.
- Support the consolidation of market reports as well as presentations to HQ
Retail Excellence: Scope Whole Europe
- Partner with Boutique managers to identify areas of improvement to offer an in-store client experience.
- Organize European Store Managers meetings and High Jewelry Committees based on global objectives, needs and feedback.
Training & coaching management: Scope Whole Europe
- Define and implement the training strategy for Retail Teams, ensure 100% participation in both in class and online training
- Evaluate ongoing needs, gather feedback on training programs and share them with Brand Directors and Global Training Team.
- Work on specific training projects to support business challenges (High Jewelry Community)
- Manage training budget and oversee training organization.
- Based on results of evaluation tools, identify priority coaching needs with Field Coach and Store Directors
PROFILE
- 8 to 10 years of experience in retail excellence or retail management (minimum 2 years in luxury retail store)
- Strong leadership skills and experience with coaching and training team members
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in the jewelry industry and/or in training is a plus.
- Bilingual English and French
