The Export Local Markets & Travel Retail EMEA team oversees the distribution of Fragrance & Beauty products in 30+ local markets and across most airports in Europe, Africa & the Middle East. They have a high complexity, with various levels of business maturity, large geographical perimeter and a strong cultural diversity.
The Marketing team reinforces the Brand equity, enhances the Brand image and works closely with the whole Export Team to develop various areas.
The Category team works closely on shaping the distribution of our product ranges.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL
- We contribute to the brand performance by ensuring that the right product is in the right point of sale with the right level of stock.
- We contribute to the strategy of the whole export Team by analyzing our trends and making recommendations accordingly.
- We contribute to the development of CHANEL Fragrance and Beauty in our various Local Markets and Travel Retail accounts by shaping the marketing calendar and sizing all the new product launches as well as optimizing the permanent assortment.
More specifically, your missions include:
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
- Co-building the F&B Marketing plan by channel working closely with all the digital and marketing team.
- 3 axis product & 360° tools forecast recommendation per campaign & follow-up
- Defining F&B assortments by channel Travel Retail & Local Makets working closely with Local Brand Managers, Area Managers and Merchandising Team
CATEGORY ANALYSIS
- Providing monthly Travel Retail sell-out report on the category and new launches report.
- In progress : Local Markets Sell out analysis
- Ad hoc analysis on various topics requested
STRATEGIC PRESENTATIONS
- Animating the Export community during various meetings: Local Markets seminar, Travel Retail Sales Manager Seminar, Tax Free…
Conducting retailer presentations externally to our clients
- Providing analysis and various documents for specific meetings: budget, alignment, retailer presentation,
AD HOC PROJECTS
The product manager is involved in various taskforces inside the Export department: development of a specific geographical area, forecast optimization…
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Graduated from a Business School or equivalent, you have a first professional experience in a similar function: product management, forecast, finance.
- Entrepreneur and innovat=excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You're able to speak in public for various audiences.
- You have strong analytical skills: Excel, Power Query
- Fluent in English (spoken & written).
12 months-fixed-term contract to be filled in January 2025.
